Roy Eugene "Gene" Entrekin, Class of '59

About-Baker: I was in the Baker band from 8th through 12 grades. My most memorable moment was making 1st chair in the trumpet section.

After-Baker: I served in the Navy for five years, which enabled me to use my GI Bill benefits to attend the University of Maryland, from which I graduated in 1977. I've been married for almost 35 years and have two daughters, one now living in SC and the other in NC. I retired from the Department of Defense in 1997 and have been working as a consultant ever since. The thing my wife and I enjoy most, other than eating, is traveling around the world and the U.S. My ambition is to see as many U.S. National Parks as possible and as many countries as possible.
