I was in ROTC for three years. I did not participate in extracurricular activities. As the next to the oldest of 9 children I had after school jobs througout the years I attended Baker. My most enjoyable moments were spent with my classmates...especially Pat Banister who is my lovely bride of 34 years.
I married my high school sweetheart. We have three grown children who are all doing well and on their own. We are blessed with 7 grandchildren (all boys).
I entered the Air Force after graduation and spent a total of 8 years serving our country including a tour in Germany and a tour in England. I Enjoyed it, returned to civilian life in 1970 and have been in Manufacturing since... Making Cotton Gins and Airplanes. I left Boeing (airplanes) last year when they sold the plant in Macon and Have started my own woodworking business. I am having fun!!
