Sherron Manderson, Class of '63

Sherron Manderson passed away in her home on April 1, 1982. She was 36 years old. The wife of successful economist, Robert Uhler, Sherron had lived in many locales during her lifetime. She and Bob lived with their two siamese cats, Fritzi and Schatze, in Boston; Washington, D.C.; San Francisco; and finally in Los Angeles. Sherron did not have any children of her own but was a devoted God-mother to William Jason Manderson, her nephew. He is the son of Linda Lucas Stratford (BHS '70).

After attending Auburn University, Sherron utilized her skills and talents as a commercial artist. In San Francisco as well as Studio City, California, she operated her own graphic design business. She also was a graphic/design artist for the notable Harcourt, Brace and Lippincott Publishers in Los Angeles where she primarily created artwork for school books. Sherron preceded her husband and mother in death. She is survived by her father, two brothers, three nephews and a niece. All live in the Columbus and Phenix City area.
