Roger D. Delffs, Class of '66



Attended all 4 years of high school at BHS. Enjoyed watching the football games; majored in having fun. Most memorial events were the sock hops and Sadie Hawkins dances. Most memorable people Brenda Watley and Sue Sheppard. After graduation from BHS, served as a medical specialist in the Air Force and traveled the world. Taiwan, Vietnam, Alaska. Separated from the service and attended Auburn University and graduated in 1975. Commissioned in the United States Air Force as a Medical Service Officer and earned scholarship to University of Alabama-Birminham. Graduated in 1980 with MS in Hospital Administration. From 1980-1991 traveled the world again in USAF. Retired from service in 1991 after serving in Desert Storm. Served at Le Bonheur Children's hospital at Memphis 1991-2003. Now retired living in log home in Evening Shade, Arkansas with wife Amanda. Three grown children...all wonderful.
