Carolyn Driggers, Class of '67

About-Baker: Since I worked after school, my extra curricular activities were limited. I spent any free time visiting with friends and reading and playing pick-up soccer and soft ball

After-Baker: Most of my adult life was spent in Atlanta. I moved there soon after graduation. Moving from several jobs beginning with the "phone" company, Fulton National Bank, and a steel service center. I went to work for American Hospital Supply (Baxter Health Care) in 1973 and became SE Area Purchasing Supervisor in 1978. I was there for 17 years. On the personal side, I attended Bauder College in Atlanta and married early on and had one son, Jeff. I was divorced. In 1987, I came back for the 20 year reunion and looked up some old friends. Several months later, out of the blue, I got a call from a guy I dated briefly at Baker. His sister and I had been good friends so I had looked her up in July, 1987 during the class reunion. We wrote several times and met again in September of 1987 for the first time in 20 years. In November of 1991 we were married. Oh yeah, his name is Gary Linder. I now work in Columbus and live on 55 acres in Opelika...which we love. We're raising my grandson, Toby. He has been with us for 3 1/2 years. He is a true blessing. He is now 6. That pretty much sums
