Johnnie Ray Mauldin, Class of '67

I ran track at Baker. Two mile open was my main event. In 1967 I was unofficially the second-fastest two-miler for Georgia.

I enjoyed track and the other athletes. It was gratifying to be able to do something well! Gotta go!

After graduation I joined the Air Force and spent the next 2.5 years in the Far East.

I am married and have six children, one of whom has given me a grandson. I have worked for the Postal Service for 20+ years and am now Postmaster for a large Indian reservation. What a culture change. We are deep into outdoor activities, raise many types of animals for a hobby and spend a lot of time at fairs and other animal shows competing with our stick.
