After-Baker: Bachelor Degree from University of Georgia (also attended Columbus College as it was named back in the `70s). Masters Degree from University of Oklahoma. Spent 20 years in the Air Force. Stationed at Eglin AFB, FL (73-76); Clear AFS, AK (76-767); Vandenberg AFB, CA (77-79); Hickam AFB, HI (79-81); Kadena AFS, Okinawa (81-84); Langley AFB, VA (84-86); Wright-Patterson AFB, OH (87-88); and MacDill AFB, FL (89-93). Retired in 1993 and settled in Marietta, Georgia. Married (to Donna Lafontaine -- we met in Hawaii on a blind date) in 1981; two children -- son (Alex) born 1987, daughter (Abbey) born 1990. Have been working for Sprint since 1995.
