Most memorable experiences going to dinner after a Military Ball and having my date get "romantic" in the back seat of Huey McLendon's Dad's car and rear ending a police car on Vicrory Drive; and I do not care who knows that first kiss I had from Martha Rainey, and falling in love with here she was my first love.
After-Baker:
Since I graduated from Baker in 1969 I entered the Army and ended up in the Green Berets as a medic, going to Viet Nam, receiving 4 Purple Hearts, a battle field commission, and the Silver Star with Oak Leaf Cluster came back to Fort Sam Houston, Texas as an instructor.
I then majored in VA benefits and received my:
B.S. degree in Psychology from the University of Texas,
A.A. degree in business management from Bridgeport University,
A.A. degree in History from Clayton State College,
A.S. degree in Anatomy & Physiology from Columbus College And now in the year 2005 I am going back to college to work on my sixth degree.
I have now gone back to school to obtain my nursing degree and hopefully I will become an anesthetist. I now live in San Antonio, Texas.
