Patricia "Patsy" Daniel (Wright), Class of '70

Member of the Dandy Lions Drill Team for 2 years. Captain of the Drill Team, Senior Year. Anchor Club and National Honor Society.

Besides the pep rallies, football games, bowl trips, parades and the after school drill team practices, the thing I remember most has to be the the time after a National Honor Society induction ceremony. We used the flower decorations from the auditorium and spelled out "BOMBER" on the classroom wall of teacher Rebecca Braxton, whom we had fondly nicknamed Bomber. She was a great teacher and good sport.

After attending Columbus Tech for two years and receiving a Associate in Data Processing, I worked for P&W Electric Supply and Casual Corner as a programmer/analyst and was a member of the Columbus Jaycettes. In 1979, I moved to Cumming Georgia (north of Atlanta). I have continued to further my education in the computer industry and am the Information Technoloy Manager for the Manufacturing Division of Ciba Vision (contact lenses manufacturer). I am married to Chuck Wright (from Lagrange, Georgia) and have two daughters, Kristy age 19 (Attends Dekalb College) and Katy age 15 (a freshman at South Forsyth High School). I enjoy working with computers, growing plants in my greenhouse, cross stitching and spending time with my family. I still visit Columbus often to see family and friends.
