John D. "J.D." Hawk, Class of '75

While at Baker my main goal was to get out of there. I played tennis and Baseball. I majored in skipping class and having a good time. I met the girl that would become my wife.

MEMORABLE MOMENTS:
The year of the fights and the police showing up in riot gear. Meeting the girl that I would marry. The year that it snowed 14 inches, having a snow ball fight with Oscar P. Boyles, I beaned him in the head. The 1975 class party at The Hunt Club.

I went on to college, played tennis and got a free education for it. I went to work for the Columbus Police Department. I married my high school sweet heart, Ramona "Moni" Aguirre. I finished college. I graduated from the FBI National Academy. Moni and I found time to have a child, a daughter, she is the joy of my life!

Presently I am the Lieutenant in charge of the Columbus Police Department's Major Case Division. I'm back in college working on another degree.
