Jerry Carter, Class of '76

For anyone looking me up, Hi. I haven’t talked to anyone from Baker in a long time (Chris Castro and Don Miller last ones). My loss. Many good memories of Baker…Hi Paula, I still think of you! Post Baker: Attended Columbus College for 2 years, transferred to Auburn University. Graduated in Jun 81 with a BS in Aerospace Engineering – WAR EAGLE. Since The AF paid for my schooling, I was commissioned a 2nd LT and off into the world I went. I spent 16 years on active duty before taking an early retirement option in 1998 (last down sizing offered by AF). I had a chance to live in LA, California; Dayton, Ohio (MS in Engineering Management from University of Dayton – Go Flyers); Denver, Colorado; England, UK, and Washington DC. I married my wife Sue in 1986 (Graduate from University of Michigan in 1984). I have 2 children, Elizabeth (born in 1991) and Joseph (born in 1993). Sue is still in the AF, eligible to retire in 2004. We have settled in Northern Virginia because it reminds us of jolly old England. After my retirement from the AF in 1998, I joined the Central Intelligence Agency (yes, the CIA). I’m a Sr. Program Manger detailed out to the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO – the guys who procure the nation’s spy satellites). Starting in Jul 03, I’ll detail back to HQ CIA to work on the George Tenet’s (DCI) staff… Email me, would love to hear from someone back home!
