Darrell Fields, Class of '89

About-Baker: I was in JROTC for four years and served as Rifle Team Captain. I was also on the Ranger Team and Math Club. I can not choose a most memorable moment at Baker. I remember the time that "Will" climbed out the second story window in Mrs. Jacksons English class and I remember the media coverage of the walkout due to the hot class rooms and no AC. There were so many. I can't pick just one.

After-Baker: After graduation, I roomed with Ralph Allen and Kenneth Tolbert for a while and soon joined the US Army. I spent four years on Ft. Lewis, Washington as a missile launcher technician and then the NBC NCOIC of 62nd Med Group. I earned an associates degee from Pierce College in Seatle and later a Bachelors of Electronics Engineering Technology for DeVry in Atlanta. I worked at Scientific Atalanta as a RF/Digital Technician and later as an Engineer/Project Manager at Telesat, a Canadian telecommunications and satelite services company. Finally, I've started my own contracting business (PTS) specializing in the installation of communications equipment and networks. I also dabble in real estate. I date frequently, been engaged a couple of times, but I have never married and have no children....I mean, none that I know of. ; ) Kidding, of course. The things I enjoy most are jazz clubs, comedy clubs, travelling, and going home to visit my family, tutor my niece, and attend church. I also serve as a deacon at Cusseta Road Christian Center, a church where everyone is welcome, hint-hint. ....Ever crowned with grace and glory, Baker hail to thee! God Bless and Keep You. DF
