Subject: Message concerning BHS & Website
Dear Sylvia,
So sorry to bug you about this, but is there any update on the @Baker website? As best I can tell, it's been down and inaccessible since July of 2006. I confess that it's been quite a while since I've been on the Baker site, but had an update for the Class of '69 that I wanted to pass on.
At one time, I think there was an "archivist" of sorts assigned to each class that was in charge of posting news, but I can't find any reference to that anymore. Is there still such a thing? And, could you send me the name and e-mail address for the person in charge of the Class of '69. It used to be Dell Emerson, but his links now go to his personal/business webpage. Susan Headley Bruno was also handling some of the information at one time, but I think she's dropped out of the loop.
At any rate, just in case you are the person I need to contact, here is the information:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Patricia [Patty] Ann Oliver Reid, Class of 1969, born April 1, 1951, passed away on May 3, 2007, in Macon, GA, from early-onset Alzheimer's Disease. She was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband of thirty-three years Robert [Bob] Reid, and her parents Capt. Everett [USA-retired] and Irene Oliver. She is survived by her twin sister Angela [Angie] Sue Oliver----also Class of 1969, and still a resident of Columbus, GA.
Any letters of condolence may be sent to Angie @:
1409 21st. Street
Columbus, GA 31901
[I know that she would truly appreciate any and all messages from friends and classmates. She's having a very hard time dealing with Patty and Robert's deaths; and her father's just a few years earlier.]
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If you could post this information wherever it needs to be posted, or pass it along to the proper person, I would greatly appreciate it. Angie has no internet access or e-mail address, so she asked that I would do this for her.
Thank you so much for all of your hard work and diligence in keeping all of us far-flung Lions in touch. You'll never know how much it is appreciated, but it is.
Again, thank you.
GO LIONS!!!!
