Due to the @Baker website still not functioning, may I suggest that you all register for a couple of mailing lists:

1. Lions-L to post general messages to the list members from several classes at http://baker.hs.org/mailman/listinfo/lions-l and
2. BHS72-L for Class of 1972 related discussions at http://baker.hs.org/mailman/listinfo/bhs72-l.

Also, Paul "Roy" Nix, '65 asked me to pass the word that he has set up a Baker High Bulletin Board at http://www.bhsbums.com/, the link to save is http://www.bhsbums.com/forum/ as another way for us to stay in touch!  Check it out but beware of the offensive postings that keep appearing... it is an ongoing battle deleting and blocking them!

I have posted your email to all three hoping that it will open some dialog among the '72 Lions that are still trying to stay in touch.  Does anyone have the contact info for the 1972 class roster?  Let me know so we can consolidate our efforts and stay updated.  

As sad as I was to hear about Alice... I can't think of a better reason to have a Get-Together.  Hope you all have many great times to share!

  I think you guys are the only 72ers that I have email addresses for.  I have talked with a few of you regarding our reunion and getting someone to chair. I have been asked to lead.  I cannot.  I will be glad to  put more than fair share in to help but cannot make a committment.  Maybe if we had several co-chairs...a nice little lunch or dinner for short organization meeting...maybe not plan a whole weekend but just a dinner...put some emails out, ask sweet Sylvia (copied here) to  get postings on the web. I am not thinking just of us and a reunion.

  Here is the thing.  You all know that Alice Howell Skinner organized a great many of our reunions, including the Friday night cookouts at the lake.  Well, I am very sad to tell you, and I have not talked to her but her sister, mom, and Bruce.  She is in an intense struggle with cancer, very sick.  Sister Lori says that she feels good many days and has a great outlook. She has good days and bad days, strong ones and weak ones.   Lori said that she thought if we had a reunion she very well might come.  

  Let's see what we can work out.  Suggestions?   I am out of town a bit of next week, wk of the 23rd and Aug 4-11th. Susan and Rhonda had an idea  a while ago about a dinner at hmm...the place out Macon Road.  

  Gosh, alright, If you have email addresses of classmates, send them to me and I will build an email list.
